Mayhew’s new singles “Wake Up” and “Shark In The Water” are growing serious wings! “Wake Up” got signed to a singles deal with German-based label, Pulsive Media. The song already has remixes with MAJOR players such as chart topping DJ, KLAAS.
The music video concept was shot straight throughout the night until sunrise with some celebrity Youtubers such as Ana Free and Jessica Carroll. The video is already playing on various online and televised channels.
“Shark In the Water” was created with Belgium platinum DJ, Robert Abigail and DJ, Wildvibes. Check out the lyric video below:
Mayhew has also done some cool collaborations between music and sports! Yup, you heard right. Her song, “Danger Zone,” was a collaboration with Red Bull’s “Global RallyCross” series that airs on NBC. Due to the success of the collab, Mayhew was requested to come on as the anthem singer and ’30 Second girl’ for the series open on network TV.
“Danger Zone” was remixed by DJ, Dylan Aiden, who has the 4th largest EDM podcast in the US.
The song was then picked up by TOP DJs such as Tiesto, Nicky Romero, Alesso, and Showtek, where they each played the song for massive festivals such as EDC Vegas, EDC New York, and Ultra Korea.
In general, Mayhew has licensed over 100 songs to film, TV, and national commercials including: NBC’s “The Voice,” numerous cable shows, two commercials for Klondike Bar, and a campaign with her song, “Shadow,” for prestigious haircare company, Joico, which she is also starring in.
THE GIRL BEHIND THE MUSIC
Lauren started singing practically when she started talking. She has an infectious love for music and is a born entertainer. Lauren started out in musical theater, but got her first big break when she was signed as a recording artist to Epic Sony in her band PYT. They opened for Britney, NSYNC, Destiny’s Child, 98 Degrees, and even got to do SUPER BOWL with Aerosmith, Sting, and Styx! Lauren now has her own band and has performed all over the US. She has also performed INTERNATIONALLY as the WWE’s ring announcer and national anthem singer to crowds of 20,000 plus and television audiences upwards of 100 million viewers worldwide.
In Japan, Mayhew performed nightly at Tokyo-based nightclub, New Lex.
She also appeared in numerous magazines, radio shows, and television programs including “Metropolis” magazine, the Kamasomi Kong and Joint One radio shows, and “Backstage Pass” on FOX International.
