When you've been a member of a pop rock band that toured with Britney Spears and Destiny's Child (to name just two), interviewed Hollywood’s best and most famous entertainers on a nationally-syndicated TV show, and starred in one of the most wildly successful comedy movie franchises of all-time, where do you go from there? For multi- faceted and multi-talented LAUREN MAYHEW, the answer lies in a single word – UP.

Mayhew has started working on her solo material with some of the music industry's most talented producers, and she regularly performs to enthusiastic crowds at Hollywood's hottest clubs as well as internationally in Japan, Dubai, and China. Her new music, which she co-writes, has been featured on MTV's 'The Hills' and 'The City,' VH1’s 'Keeping with the Kardashians,' and several national commercials such as one for Klondike Bar and various movie soundtracks. Her song "Sugar Daddy's Girl" has had over 4 MILLION combined views on Youtube and has already sold 20,000 downloads without a single radio spin. Her songs are THAT infectious! Described as 'The Killers' meets 'Rihanna,' Lauren’s sound is grit infused dance/electro-pop. Her music has had dance floors rocking out and getting lost in the MAYHEM, which eventually became Lauren’s new nickname. It stuck.

Mayhew is no stranger to the music biz. Signed by her 13th birthday to Epic Records, Lauren started PYT with three of her friends, touring the world with 'N Sync, Destiny’s Child, 98 Degrees, and Britney Spears. PYT's hectic travel schedule did not leave much time for acting, so she said good-bye to the cast of 'Guiding Light' and headed out on tour with the group. The band charted two Billboard singles and was featured on soundtracks such as 'Miss Congeniality;' 'Bring It On' and 'Center Stage.' Lauren appeared in major music videos with Mandy Moore and Faith Hill as well as two videos of her own with PYT. She even performed at Super Bowl XXXV alongside Britney Spears, Sting, and Aerosmith.

While music is Lauren's passion, she has serious acting chops as well, and has used her talents in this realm to boost her musical notoriety. Her big screen debut came in New Line Cinema’s "Raise Your Voice," however, she has also starred in Universal Picture's "American Pie: Band Camp," "CSI," "CSI Miami," "Law & Order," "Joan of Arcadia," "Medical Investigations," and was recurring on NBC's drama "American Dreams." Most recently, Mayhew recurred on Showtime's HIT TV series "Dexter" as the love interest of one of the serial killers on the show.

Mixing it up yet again, Lauren debuted as the new ring announcer/national anthem singer for WWE’s SMACKDOWN!, Superstars, and ECW. She performed to packed arenas of 20,000 plus all over the globe, and, in addition, was televised to 150 million in practically every country on the planet.

Mayhew has many LEADING ROLES coming up in films, “Burned,” which was shot in Texas and will be distributed through Lionsgate, "Ashley" alongside Michael Madsen (theatrical release this year), and “The Trace” with Billy Dee Williams. However, she has really buckled down to focus on her musical sound and has been writing non-stop with some of the music industry's biggest writers and producers. She has opportunities to do a 3 month paid tour in China this summer to showcase her new music, and has many HIT songs that she is ready to show to the world! She's off to an AMAZING start as her song was just featured on NBC's "The Voice" last week!
