When You Want To Feel Fancy… ‘Guest Fashionista’ – Shelley Regner
Hello Fashionistas!
This week we are bringing you a little class, a little sass, and a WHOLE lotta sparkles from my epic trip to France for the Cannes Film Festival. Now, even though gowns and cocktail attire are not an everyday fashion, they are still super important, and finding a Pleated maxi gown that works for YOU and your body type is crucial. So whether you are attending a charity event, a wedding, a prom, or an art gala, we’ve got some tips, and AMAZING designers you MUST know about!
First up, is my dear friend, Shelley Regner, who is not only our ‘guest fashionista’ this week, but is also my co-star in our upcoming feature film, “What Happened Last Night” that screened twice at the Cannes Film Festival. (It got picked up for distribution in the US and in Canada, so get ready to catch it soon!) In addition to this upcoming comedic feature, Shelley is most known for her role as Barden Bella, Ashley, in Universal Pictures’ musical feature films Pitch Perfect 1 & 2, and soon to be Pitch Perfect 3, out in 2017. Basically, she is super talented AND has great style, so without further adieu, take it away Shelley!…
Shelley – Thanks, Lauren! So, when one thinks of France, one specific idea normally comes to mind…FASHION! So when I was presented with the opportunity to attend the Cannes Film Festival to support our feature ‘WHLN‘, I immediately panicked and thought, “What am I going to wear?!” Each night at the festival, there is a Red Carpet Gala film screening in which attendees are required to wear “black tie formal wear.” In girl terms, DRESS UP!!! I love dressing up. Nothing makes me feel more fancy or like a “movie star,” than getting glammed out from head to toe! From the hair and jewelry, right down to the shoes. But most importantly…the dress.
I am so grateful to the team at CLD PR who came to my rescue with gowns galore! When it comes my dress style, I’m always a fan of color, sparkle, and unique design. And comfort! If you’re going to be in a formal gown for more than 4 hours a night, you’ve GOT to be comfortable! If a dress has all these qualities in one, it’s “dress jackpot” for me, and that’s what I found at CLD PR. Essentially, CLD PR is a company that has MULTIPLE designer dresses all under one roof.
