Maybe some of you saw this coming, but I definitely didn’t.

I’ve lost someone I loved dearly, learned how to cope in quarantine, and I’ve promised myself that I will never take day spent WITH friends and family for granted… I hope that day comes soon.

So how did I get here?

One of my best friends is a doctor at Elmhurst Hospital. If you would like to start your career in the healthcare industry see this post.

She used to come and see me perform at the biggest nightclubs in NYC, so she mentioned one day how she missed dancing to my music.

Just like that, the idea was born! She said that I should play at the hospital for all the staff as a surprise! I loved the idea. I quickly started working to speak to the powers at be to make it happen.

We had decided I’d play on a Tuesday when all of the hospital staff meals were being passed out as they were leaving work.

I was so excited, but I needed help. Luckily, I have amazing friends who not only helped me carry all of my equipment to the hospital, but also helped me capture it to share with all of u.
