Best CLOSE Tropical Getaways

Hey guys!

Looking for an AMAZING tropical getaway before the summer is over? If you live on the East Coast, I HIGHLY recommend Bermuda. I had never been myself until just a few weeks ago. It’s so close! Just a 2hr flight from NYC (and most other states along the coast).

I had the pleasure of staying at Grotto Bay Beach Resort and Spa. Grotto Bay is special for many reasons.

First, it has an amazing Spa that is located in ALL-NATURAL caves. You can actually get a full-body massage in one of these caves. Calling it beautiful would be an understatement! But let’s say you are more adventurous and massages aren’t your thing… Grotto Bay also has Cathedral Cave where you can go swimming and exploring! In addition, just off the resort property is a a body of water called ‘The Blue Hole.’ I actually went there with my boyfriend and went cliff jumping! There are multiple jump points (low, medium, and high). Just be careful because the mud can get slippery!

Second, Grotto Bay is the only resort in Bermuda that has an ALL-INCLUSIVE meal plan option. Normally, in this scenario, I have found at past resorts that the food can be less than stellar, however, not at Grotto Bay. I can honestly say each meal was DELICIOUS! They even do themed banquet dinners.

Lastly, in addition to being conveniently located only about 5-10min from the airport, Grotto Bay has a TON of awesome activities from tennis, to kayaking, to paddle boarding, to their very own scuba and diving excursions that leave right from the resort itself.

I had an absolutely amazing time at Grotto Bay and I can’t wait to go back! Intrigued?!
