Are you looking to move?

2020 has been an absolutely crazy year, and I feel like more than ever people are making changes, forming new habits, and prioritizing things differently in their life. I know I am.

For example, I live in NYC – one of the most amazing, but also one of the most expensive cities in the US. In addition, indoor dining, clubs, bars, and so much more are all still closed (in comparison with some other locals throughout the country). When part of your job is live-performing, singing, and DJing, this definitely changes the perspective for your everyday life. Learn How To Move The Office Without Stress: All You Should Know on this amazing article.

I decided September 1st to move out of my apartment, and look for my next big adventure. I also realized that I don’t necessarily need to be in NYC currently. I could explore other cities and take advantage of this ‘new normal’ by experiencing a city that I never would have (most likely) otherwise. As for the belongings that won’t be necessary for this venture, they can be secured on storage units, such as those that offer low price storage. And to help me with the move, I will be looking for long distance movers that are available on that date. In addition, I would likely store my stuff in some heavy duty plastic storage bins for safe and secure keeping.

I started thinking of possibilities…. Tampa, Dallas, Chicago? All phenomenal cities with something special and unique to offer.

As I was researching and googling, I came across some pretty cool tools that I wanted to share with all of you in case you were in the same boat and thinking some of the same things I have been. According to experts like this team in San Antonio and Four Seasons Kanga Roof, you have to take in the costs of repairs as well in your budget. If you want to get an idea of how much it would cost, then visit experts’ sites like precisionroofcrafters.com. And to make relocating stress-free, you can hire a man with a van to help you out. You can find more information about their service at their website.

First, I found this amazing site called Zumper

I know what you are thinking…

What the heck is Zumper? It’s actually pretty awesome and helpful. Zumper is used by millions of renters to find houses, rooms, condos, or apartments for rent.

I saw that they have a function where you can even apply for apartments online, submit digital rental applications and credit reports with Zumper’s screening service, and the best part is… it’s all SAFE and powered by a trustworthy company, TransUnion™ – so your personal information is in good hands. 🙂

Their inventory is updated in real-time, so you’ll always see new rentals on Zumper first. In a big city (with a lot of demand), like Chicago, this is SO important because listings and availability can change so quickly.

You can also filter by location, price range, bedroom count, pet-friendly spots, or amenities; and set an alert to get notifications when a new listing is posted, when you are ready to move see Sky Van Lines website for long distance movers.

I’m not sure where I’ll end up, but I’m excited for this next chapter, and I hope you are too!  Hopefully this insight will help you find your PERFECT home!
