I recently did a PSA about Lyme disease. I had no idea how bad it actually was, and am so glad that I could help in any small way. A very good friend of mine has a little sister with Lyme. She was a beautiful girl who was full of life, but now she can barely get out of bed.  It really struck home when it happened to someone I know.

Please visit : learnaboutlyme.com to see the PSA and educate yourself.

You can also visit: lymenaide.com

The people I did this PSA with are incredibly passionate and amazing people. Let’s all try to do our part!

    Lauren,

Thank you so much for having the courage and compassion to speak out about Late Stage Lyme Disease, and for participating in our campaign. As a Late Stage Lyme patient, this gives me so much hope. It gives me hope for understanding, awareness, and a fair shake at medical care. Please don’t be afraid to continue to speak out. Know that we as a Lyme community will be behind you, cheering you on the entire way, eternally grateful for your support.

    Thank you for everything,
    Candice

Laur Laur – you have no idea how happy you and the rest of the crew have made Teri. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for giving people like Teri a voice and helping spread awareness around the world. You are an awesome friend and even though this may seem very small and insignificant to you, it means so much to so many. Thank you so so so much! :)

    Lauren,
I remember the first time you walked into an audition and you and John just took over! With that dynamic personality and amazing talent, I knew you were heading toward a phenomenal career. And here you are but you still take the time to remember your friend in need. Thank you for not being too big or too busy to help with the PSA to raise awareness for a disease that is destroying Millions of lives and is misdiagnosed constantly due to medical ignorance caused by politics, greed and egos. Our family is so touched by your support and compassion. Love you!

Lauren, thanks so much for doing the PSA – awareness needs to be much higher than it is. I went undiagnosed for 18 years and thanks to long term natural treatment I’m doing a ton better a year into it. I still have a few years of treatment to go, but to think that if Lyme PSAs had been airing in the early 1990s when I was bitten by a tick… I would have nipped this in the bud and not be dealing with it now. Thank you for helping others.

thank you! A non-afflicted person teaching perhaps the most important thing: PREVENTION

  7. Thank you, Lauren, for lending your voice to speak for countless victims of Lyme disease. So many are too sick to be able to come out and tell their story; so your time and love for your dear friends’ daughter will also speak for thousands. If we can bring awareness, prevention and education to communities across the nation; we can equip families in a way that they do not suffer as so many have. You are helping us to cut beyond the politics of a potentially deadly disease and move around obstacles that should never prevent a proper diagnosis and treatment. Blessings to you for devoting your time… on behalf of all of the children; for young and old who are currently suffering and in support of those yet to come. Blessings, ~diana
